Boris Lochthofen

Boris Lochthofen (* 1975 in Rodewisch ) is a German journalist , managing director of Radio PSR and R.SA was. In 2016 he became director of the MDR -Landesfunkhaus Thuringia in Erfurt .

Life

Lochthofen grew up in Erfurt and studied at the University of Leipzig - he has a master's degree in communication and media studies as well as political science. He then worked as a freelance journalist. Since 2006 he has worked in Leipzig for the Germany-wide radio company Regiocast , quickly rose to responsible positions and in 2014 became a member of the management of Regiocast GmbH & Co. KG. He has been managing the Saxon private radio programs Radio PSR and R.SA since July 1, 2010. Lochthofen is involved in many national and regional industry institutions.

By resolution of the MDR Broadcasting Council, Boris Lochthofen was appointed director of the MDR State Broadcasting House Thuringia in Erfurt at the beginning of 2016. The MDR director Karola Wille had suggested him for the office . Since 2016 he has been a member of the University Council of the University of Erfurt . He was confirmed in this office in October 2019.

Boris Lochthofen is married and has one daughter. His father is the author and journalist Sergej Lochthofen , his grandfather is Lorenz Lochthofen .
