Boruja Kościelna (German: Church Square Borui) is a village in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , in the powiat Nowotomyski , in the Nowy Tomyśl municipality . The place is 6 kilometers south of Nowy Tomyśl and 56 kilometers west of Poznan . Boruja Kościelna was founded in the 18th century as a Hauland settlement . The former Protestant village church, which was built in 1776/77, is worth seeing. The church was consecrated on June 1, 1777 by the pastor Nickisch from Wollstein .
