geography

history

On May 2, 1999, Yugoslav and Serbian forces attacked several villages north of Vushtrria , including Boshlan. The residents were forced to leave their homes and had to make their way through the Studime Valley towards Vushtrria in a convoy - consisting of 30,000 to 40,000 people. Many houses were then burned down. 104 Albanians were killed in this event.
