Botho Bernd Rüdiger Engelien (born July 1, 1938 on the Vorwerk Nonnenhof (from 1950 Russian: Gordejewo, no longer existent) of the Kanoten manor , from 1928 Posegnick , Gerdauen district ( East Prussia )) is a former German officer ( retired major general . ). Life

Botho Engelien joined the Bundeswehr in 1956 as an officer candidate in the air force and was trained as a pilot.
