Bovine Meat and Milk Factors

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As Bovine Meat and Milk Factors (BMMF) are DNA -components in beef and cow's milk referred to for the development of cancer (especially colon cancer and breast cancer might be responsible). The representatives of this thesis include the physicians Harald zur Hausen and Ethel-Michele de Villiers , both working at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg , based on the analysis of epidemiological data and the examination of antibodies in human serum. There could also be a connection to neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis .

At the end of 2017, Timo Bund's working group at the DKFZ presented evidence that the BMMF survive in human cells over the long term. She identified certain BMMF RNA and protein products .

On February 26, 2019, Ethel-Michele de Villiers presented evidence of a previously unknown infectious agent in the blood serum and milk of Eurasian cattle that could indirectly trigger the development of colon cancer. "Homologies to the p4ABAYE plasmid from Acinetobacter , but also viral components of CRESS DNA viruses have been demonstrated."
