The Brüggelekopf is 1182  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Bregenz Forest Mountains . It is the local mountain of the Bregenzerwald community of Alberschwende in the Bregenz district in Vorarlberg ( Austria ).

The saddle point to the neighboring Geißkopf above the Bödele is the Lorenapass with a height of 1050 ± 10 m. The notch height is accordingly at least 122 m.

From the Brüggelekopf you have a comprehensive overview of the widely scattered Alberschwende, whose core lies at its foot. In the northwest you can see Lake Constance well, while the view to the east offers an impressive view of the Bregenzerwald around Egg and the middle course of the Bregenzer Ache up to the tributary of the Weißach .

The Brüggelekopf, at the top of which is a snack station, is a popular starting point for mountain hikes, for example over the high moor to the pilgrimage church in Bildstein , over Kaltenbrunnen to Egg or over the Geißkopf to Bödele . Until 2018, the Brüggelekopf chairlift led up the mountain, whose operation was discontinued due to a non-extended operating license.
