The Bramau is an orographically left tributary of the Stör in Schleswig-Holstein . The river has a length of 15.1 km, the difference in altitude is ten meters. It arises in Bad Bramstedt from the confluence of the Osterau and the Hudau called Schmalfelder Au . In the lower reaches, the body of water is also called Stellau , after which the Wrister district of the same name is named. East of Wittenbergen about 500 meters before the confluence with the sturgeon spans since 1585 the Red Bridge the river in the so-called brother wade .
