Brasspop

As Brasspop (sometimes Urban Brass ) is pop music called, in which the use of brass instruments such as trombones , trumpets and tuba in the foreground.

history

In the early 2000s, numerous bands emerged that began to cover contemporary pop music with brass instruments . The American brass bands Youngblood Brass Band and Hot 8 Brass Band, whose music is heavily influenced by hip-hop and funk , as well as in German-speaking countries such as LaBrassBanda , Querbeat , Moop Mama or Meute, have been providing brass instruments in pop music since 2010. The rise of brass pop can be demonstrated not least by the accumulation of chart positions of songs by the above-mentioned bands.
