Bremenfeld is a deserted area in the district of Steinau an der Straße , in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse .

Geographical location

The desert is at an altitude of 310 m above sea ​​level , about 2 km southeast of Steinau an der Straße. The field name there is Primenfeld .

history

Bremenfeld belonged to the office of Steinau of the rule and later County of Hanau , from 1458: County of Hanau-Münzenberg . In 1382 Hanau sold his property in the village of Bremenfeld to Hutten . In 1408, in turn, the von Hutten gave the von Hanau a fiefdom there. The last recorded mention of the village comes from the year 1420, which must have fallen desolate around this time.
