Bressan , real name Matheus Simonete Bressanelli , (born January 15, 1993 in Caxias do Sul , RS ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

The 1.85 meter tall defensive player Bressan was at the beginning of his career in the ranks of EC Juventude at least from 2010 . There he ran across seasons in six games (one goal) of the Serie D and nine games (no goal) of the Gaucho 1st Div . In 2011 and 2012 his club won the Copa FGF . At the beginning of January 2013 he moved to Grêmio Porto Alegre . There, he played in the following years a total of 69 league games and scored two goals (Serie A: 54 games / 1 goal; Gaucho 1 : 15.01) and came six each (no goals) in the Copa Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil for Commitment. In the second half of December 2014 he was loaned to Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . This commitment lasted until the beginning of August 2015. During this period, he has made twelve league appearances in which he hit the opposing goal once (Serie A: 4/0; Carioca 1st Div : 8/1). In addition, there were three completed games without personal scoring in the national cup competition. He then returned to Gremio, scored three goals in 22 other league games (Serie A: 15/2; Primeira Liga: 1/1; Gaucho 1st Div : 6/0) and was in three games (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores Used in 2016 . In mid-July 2016, the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Peñarol signed him on loan. He signed a contract for an initial season. After a pass from Michael Barrios , he scored the goal in the 51st minute to make it 2-0 (final score -3-0).

National team

Bressan was appointed by coach Ney Franco in March 2011 in the Brazilian U-18 selection for the 11th Copa Internacional do Mediterrâneo , which took place in April of that year .

He was a member of the Brazilian squad at the Pan American Games in 2015 and was used four times (no goal) in the U-22 national team of Brazil during the football tournament there.
