Brevet Sportif National

The Brevet Sportif National is a Luxembourg sports badge created in 1980 .

history

The Brevet Sportif National was founded in 1980 by Grand Duke Jean in four categories:

  • le brevet sportif (= sports diploma)
  • le brevet sportif pour handicapés physiques (= sports diploma for the physically handicapped)
  • le brevet sportif scolaire (= school sport diploma)
  • le brevet sportif scolaire pour handicapés physiques (= school sport diploma for the physically handicapped)

Grand Duke Henri repealed the 1980 and 1987 regulations in 2002. Since then, the Brevet Sportif National has been awarded in bronze , silver and gold from the age of 10 .

Different performance requirements apply to women and men, which in turn are divided into age groups.

Disciplines

The current requirements are divided into four groups. In adults these are:
