Bria Vinaite (born June 10, 1993 as Barbora Bulvinaitė in Alytus ) is a Lithuanian actress .

Life

Bria Vinaite was born in Lithuania, at the age of six or seven she moved to Brooklyn , New York City . She made her film debut in 2017 in The Florida Project by Sean Baker , who discovered her for the film on Instagram , where she promoted her clothing collection. In this film, she played the role of Halley, the single mother of little Moonee, played by Brooklynn Prince . For her performance, she was nominated for the Chlotrudis Awards 2018 in the category Best Supporting Actress.

Vinaite starred in the music video for the song Nice For What by rapper Drake , released in April 2018 . In 2019, she played the role of Darmi in the television series The OA . In the film drama Balance, Not Symmetry (2019) by Jamie Adams, she played alongside Laura Harrier as Shirley-Caitlin Walker, her fellow student Hannah. She also appeared in Taylor DeVoe's Violent Delights .
