Brian Godding

Brian Godding (born August 19, 1945 in Wales ) is a British guitarist in rock music and fusion jazz .

Godding grew up in London . He first played with bassist Brian Belshaw for The Gravediggers and The Ingoes and became known with the Blossom Toes (also BB Blunder ) and as the companion of his sister-in-law Julie Driscoll ( 1969 ). He then played in Keith Tippett's large-format band project Centipede and worked repeatedly with Mike Westbrook ( Solid Gold Cadillac 1973, On Duke's Birthday 1984, Off Abbey Road 1990), but in 1974 and 1975 also with Magma , then with Annette Peacock . Together with Kevin Coyne he wrote numerous songs in the early 1980s; In 1984 he worked for Eric Burdon . In 1990 he founded Full Monte with Chris Biscoe , Tony Marsh and Marcio Mattos .

Godding is married to Angie Driscoll.
