Brian Lozano , full name Brian Avelino Lozano Aparicio , (born February 23, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.66 meter tall midfielder Lozano has been in the ranks of the Uruguayan first division club Defensor Sporting at least since the 2014/15 season . With the Montevideans he ran 25 times in the Primera División this season and scored seven goals. In the Apertura 2015, eleven more first division appearances followed (four goals) and eight completed games (two goals) in the Copa Sudamericana 2015 . At the beginning of 2016, he moved to Club America in Mexico . So far (as of July 13, 2016) he has played there seven times (no goal) in the Primera División and twice (no goal) in the CONCACAF Champions League . At the end of June 2016, he was loaned to Nacional Montevideo and contributed to winning the Uruguayan championship in the 2016 season with nine first division appearances (no goal). In the following season in 2017 he was used 16 times in the league (four goals) and once (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2017 . In mid-June 2017 he joined Santos Laguna again on loan . So far (as of July 23, 2017) he played there once (no goal) in the top Mexican division.

National team

Lozano cannot have any international appearances in the various age groups of the junior teams. On May 19, 2015, he was initially nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional U-22 squad at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . After all, he was on the final squad and won the tournament with the Celeste.

On September 4, 2015, he made his debut under Óscar Tabárez in a 1-0 victory in the friendly against the national team of Panama in the senior team , when he came on in the 73rd minute for Diego Rolán . He has played two full international matches (no goal) so far. His last assignment for the time being was on September 8, 2015.
