Brian Morton (writer)
Brian Morton (* 1955 in New York ) is an American writer, journalist and editor.
Life
Morton lived his childhood and youth in the town of Teaneck in Bergen County , New Jersey . He studied at Sarah Lawrence College (SLC) in Yonkers ( New York ) and after his successful graduation got a job in the editorial office of the socially critical magazine Dissent . In 1995 he was promoted to managing editor there. In parallel, Morton teaches at SLC, New York University and Bennington College .
