David Brückner (born January 20, 1988 ) is a German film director , film editor , cameraman , actor and producer in the field of independent films .

Life

David Brückner became known for the release of his action horror film Dead Survivors and many small short film parodies that he published on his YouTube channel.

In addition to his work as a wedding filmmaker, he managed several short film projects and worked for three years on his first feature film, which was later released on DVD across Germany under the title Dead Survivors . His collaboration with Jens Nier, Iron Wolf , was published under the title Iron Werewolf on October 11, 2016 on Eurovideo as Bluray. The film has been available on DVD in Ireland, Japan and England since 2014. The film was shown on the big screen as a German premiere at the first ever "Obscura Filmfest" by David Ghane, which took place on October 15, 2016 in Berlin.

At the beginning of 2015 he worked for Endemol Beyond Germany, an internet platform for filmmakers. He worked as an editor, actor and editor for the program ShortCuts with presenter Nilz Bokelberg .

From November 2015 to July 2018 he was active at Ufa Lab Berlin. He was mainly active in the field of camera, editing and acting.

From August 2018 to February 2019 he worked for Ströer Media . From March 2019 he worked for the FDP in Berlin as a video producer for several months .

His third feature film is a crowdfunding horror film, which he also co-produced, and is entitled "Paranormal Demons". Brückner has been working on this project since 2014, which is a mixture of paranormal activity and Friday the 13th . The shooting took place in November and December 2016. a. in Oranienburg and Berlin . The teaser premiere of Paranormal Demons took place at the second Obscura Filmfest on March 4, 2017 in Berlin. The world premiere took place on March 28, 2018 in the "Moviemento" in Berlin.

Brückner was the cameraman (b-roll) for the Tokio Hotel video What If , published on February 21, 2017 . Directed by Barış Aydınlı.

Brückner's fourth feature film "Rapunzels Fluch" was shown in Glauchau in autumn 2019. The cast consists of a. from Davis Schulz "in Berlin. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray across Germany on August 7, 2020. On the same day, the first public premiere was held in the Langenhessen drive-in cinema in the presence of the director. The reason for this type of film screening is the corona pandemic .

Since March 2020 he has been working for the marketing agency "cormes".

Private

Brückner originally comes from Glauchau , but has lived with his partner in Berlin for several years .
