Brian Mwila (born June 16, 1994 in Ndola ) is a Zambian football player .

Career

society

Mwila started his career with the Lime Hotspurs . For the 2014 season he moved to the Kabwe Warriors . In 2015 he switched to the Green Buffaloes . In August 2017 he moved to South Africa to join the Platinum Stars . He made his debut in the Premier Soccer League in October 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Robert Ng'ambi in the 80th minute against the Orlando Pirates on matchday eight of the 2017/18 season .

After four games in the South African top division, he returned to Zambia in January 2018 and moved to Buildcon FC . In July 2018 he left the club.

In August 2018, Mwila moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club SCR Altach , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021. In the 2018/19 season he made seven appearances in the Bundesliga , in which he scored two goals. In the 2019/20 season, however, he no longer played a role at the Altachers and was not once in the matchday squad. He should have moved to Algeria for ES Sétif in January 2020 , but the transfer failed. Shortly afterwards, his contract in Altach was terminated. He then moved to F91 Dudelange in Luxembourg in February 2020 .

National team

Mwila made his debut for the Zambian national team in June 2017 when he started a friendly against Gabon and was replaced by Ignatius Lwipa in the 73rd minute . He scored his first goal for Zambia in a 2-1 friendly against South Africa that month .
