Brian Yale

Brian Yale (born November 14, 1968 in Orlando , Florida ) is an American musician. Yale was best known as the bass player for the US band Matchbox Twenty .

Career

Before Brian Yale became bassist for Matchbox Twenty in 1995, he played in the same capacity in the band Tabitha's Secret . This band also included the current Matchbox Twenty singer Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty guitarist and former drummer Paul Doucette . While the remaining members of Matchbox Twenty wrote songs for the band's albums or tried their hand at other instruments in addition to their traditional instruments, Brian Yale played only those instruments during the band's formation in 1996 until the third album More than you think you are and the subsequent tour Bass guitar . After the almost four-year break from Matchbox Twenty from the beginning of 2004 to 2007, Brian Yale took over the bass guitar again, but now wrote a song for the fourth album Exile on Mainstream , which is called These hard times and could also be heard in Germany .
