The Commandement des forces spéciales terrestres until 2016 Brigade des forces spéciales terre ( BFST ; German " Heeres-Special Forces Brigade ") is a large unit of the French army in brigade strength . The CFST has its headquarters in Pau , in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department , near the Spanish border.
