Brigitte Schütze

Brigitte Schütze (born February 1, 1934 in Münster ; † July 25, 2019 in Traunstein ) was a German gardener and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Schütze attended the horticultural school and worked as a gardener and housewife.

She was a member of the CDU and was chairwoman of the CDU local association Urbar , deputy chairwoman of the women's union in the Koblenz-Montabaur district, head of the Bundeswehr and Internal Security working group, deputy CDU district chairwoman Mayen-Koblenz, and from 1981 to 1992 a member of the CDU regional executive committee Rhineland-Palatinate, in the women's union at district, district and state level and member of the federal specialist committee "Women's Policy".

She was chairman of the CDU municipal council group Urbar and deputy CDU parliamentary group chairman in the Verbandsgemeinde Vallendar.

In 1987 she ran for the eleventh state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate . On June 8, 1988, she replaced Leo Schönberg in the state parliament, to which she was a member until the end of the 1991 electoral term. From October 24, 1989, she was the chairman of the committee for women's issues, a member of the petitions committee and a secretary in the state parliament.
