Brigitte Traeger

Brigitte Traeger (born April 25, 1973 in Georgenberg ) is a German singer of folk music and sacred songs.

Life

Brigitte Traeger was born in the Georgenberg district of Waldkirch and had performed together with her father as a child. She grew up with 6 siblings and learned various instruments. In 1990 the young Brigitte was discovered by Dieter Thomas Heck in his program "Jetzt sing i". Then she got her first record deal, and the composer Peter Aschberger wrote new popular titles for her.

Their greatest success so far had the singer with Santa Christina , her 1995 earned first place in the "Hit Parade of Folk Music" and in 1996 for Musicians Queen in Achim's hit parade made. It was followed by other appearances in numerous television programs, such as Musikantenstadl , "Wenn die Musipiele", "Musikantenscheune" and "Funny musicians". In addition to her television appearances, she gave concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and South Tyrol, but also in the USA.

In 1999 Brigitte Traeger took part with the title Von Dir zu mir in the German preliminary decision for the Grand Prix of Folk Music and a year later ( 2000 ) again with Halt mich , but she could not reach the final. Nevertheless, Brigitte Traeger is always a guest on numerous television programs. Her repertoire includes hits , folk songs, oldies and classical melodies, which are provided with new lyrics.

Since 2002, the singer has won the hearts of visitors with her program at her church and Christmas concerts and has fascinated the audience with her soulful and clear voice.

With the release of the album "Lebensträume" in 2008, Brigitte founded her own record label, Traeger Records. With the production of the sacred album "We draw to the mother of grace" in 2010, the foundation stone for her music publishing house was laid.
