The briquette Dahlhausen GmbH was on 23. December 1897 in Dahlhausen formed company for the production of briquettes from coal fines . The plant was located on the Hasenwinkel coal route .

history

After a trial phase from June 15, 1898 , briquette production was started with two punch presses acquired (Schüchtermann, Couffinhal system) in December 1899 , and two more presses followed in 1901 . In a kneader, the pulverized coal at a temperature of about 100 ° C was mixed with coal tar pitch mixed. This was followed by pressing and cooling.

The fine coal came from the United Dahlhauser Tiefbau colliery and the Langenbrahm colliery . The two mines became owners in equal parts in 1901 after the original shareholders had left. On November 1, 1908 , the German-Luxemburgish Mining and Hütten-AG took over the plant and closed it because it already had a better briquette factory at the peaceful neighbor colliery .

In 1912 the machine factory and iron foundry took over G. Wolff jr. the factory and had the halls rebuilt and expanded to form Wolff Werk II . In particular, it manufactured coke oven operating machines there.

The company Hebben & Fischbach , a mining supplier, had been based in Bochum-Linden at the postal address An der Steinhalde 32 since 1980 . According to the commercial register , this company expired in 2006. At the end of 2016, the administration of the Bochum-Südwest district gave its approval for a small company in the field of special vehicle technology to use a hall.
