The Brilliance V5 is a compact SUV of the Chinese car brand Brilliance built between 2011 and 2020 .
history
The vehicle debuted at the 2011 Guangzhou Auto Show and was launched in late November 2011. The revised version of the V5 was presented at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2014. Shortly afterwards it came on the market. In contrast to the Russian or South American market, the vehicle is not offered on the German market.

The SUV was built in Shenyang, China, until 2018 and by Derways Automobile Company in Cherkessk, Russia, until 2020 .
Technical specifications
It is powered by an 81 kW (110 PS) 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which is also used in the Brilliance H530 . Instead of a 5-speed manual transmission , the vehicle can also be combined with a 5-speed automatic transmission . Only front-wheel drive is available for the SUV . In 2017, a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 105 kW (143 hp) added to the model range.
