The Brilliance V7 is an SUV from the Chinese car brand Brilliance .

history

The vehicle was launched on the Chinese market in June 2018. In contrast to the five-seat Brilliance V6 , which is around eight centimeters shorter and has been sold since December 2017, the V7 is available with up to seven seats. Technically, the V7 is based on the V6. The platform was developed together with BMW . Neither SUV is offered outside of China.

Technical specifications

In the Brilliance V7, a turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine from PSA with 150 kW (204 hp) initially took over the drive. The car has a 6-speed manual transmission as standard . A 7-speed dual clutch transmission was available for an extra charge . All-wheel drive is not available. In mid-2019, this drive was replaced by a turbocharged 1.8-liter gasoline engine with 170 kW (231 hp). The Brilliance V6, on the other hand, is powered by a supercharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 110 kW (150 PS).
