The Brilliance BC3 is a coupe from the Chinese car brand Brilliance . It was first presented at Auto China 2006 under the name Brilliance Zhonghua M3, before it was shown at the Geneva Motor Show 2007 under the name BC3. The vehicle was launched on September 26, 2007, but production was discontinued two years later due to low sales.

The body of the approximately 4.50 m long coupé was designed by the Italian designer Pininfarina .

The only engine that will be used will be a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine developed by Brilliance , which should produce 125 kW (170 hp) and 235 Nm of torque and which will take the almost 1.5-ton car from zero in 9.7 seconds accelerated to 100 km / h. The manufacturer specifies the maximum speed at 210 km / h.

Consumption values and CO 2 emissions are not yet known. However, the engine should meet the Euro 4 standard .

It can be shifted either via a manual gearbox or an optionally available automatic gearbox .

Furnishing

The car was offered relatively fully equipped and had ABS, automatic air conditioning, leather seats and steering wheel, electric windows and driver and passenger airbags as standard. In addition to the automatic transmission, an electric sunroof, side airbags and 18-inch light-alloy wheels were also available as options. However, ESP was not offered.

The Kouper in Egypt

In Egypt, the BC3 is already under the name Brilliance Kouper from which to BMW belonging company Bavarian Auto Manufacturing Company produced.
