The Brilliance H330 is a compact class passenger car from the Chinese car brand Brilliance . The hatchback model is called the Brilliance H320 . In China it was offered from 2012 to 2017 and in some countries of the Middle and the Middle East since, 2015.

history

The series is an extensively facelifted version of the Brilliance BS2 , which was also called Junjie FRV or FSV and was formally shown for the first time under the same name at Auto China 2012 in Beijing . The vehicle was presented as a hatchback model under the designation H320 for the first time in August 2012 at the Chengdu Auto Show . Shortly afterwards, the vehicle went on sale in China. The Brilliance C3 concept vehicle , with which the manufacturer showed a variant of the H320 with off-road planking, but which never went into series production in China, and the H330 sedan made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2013. Sales of the sedan began in China that same month .

SAIPA has been building the vehicle models in Iran since mid-2015 . The H320 Cross variant with off-road paneling, which is the production version of the Brilliance C3, was presented at the Mashhad Motor Show 2017 and has been available since mid-2017. In Hassia in the Homs district , Syria , the H330 sedan has been built by the subsidiary Saipa Syria in a joint venture with SIVECO International since March 2019 .

The Bavarian Auto Group plans to build the H330 model in Egypt from the beginning of 2020 .

In China it is the predecessor of the Brilliance H3 .

In China, both the hatchback and the sedan were powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a maximum output of 77 kW (105 hp). Both versions had a 5-speed manual transmission as standard , a 4- speed automatic transmission was available at an additional cost .

In Iran, the maximum output of the 1.5 liter gasoline engine offered from 2015 to 2018 was 76 kW. A 1.7-liter gasoline engine with a maximum output of 84 kW has been in the range of engines for Iran and Syria since 2018. Both the station wagon and the notchback sedan are available in these markets with a 5-speed manual gearbox or, at an additional cost, with a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The H320 Cross version is only available with an automatic transmission.
