Bromobutanes

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The bromobutanes (also: butyl bromides ) are organic-chemical substances and form a group of four structurally isomeric saturated bromoalkanes with four carbon atoms. They have the general molecular formula C 4 H 9 Br and a molar mass of 137.03 g / mol. The sec -butyl bromide is also chiral and occurs in two enantiomeric forms. So there are a total of five isomeric bromobutanes.
