Brommaplan is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Riksby district . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . It is one of the busiest stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 13,600 commuters get on here.

The station went into operation on October 26, 1952 when the Hötorget - Vällingby metro section was inaugurated. The platforms are above ground in an elevated position, directly on the Brommaplan . The station is located between the Abrahamsberg and Åkeshov stations . It is about seven kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
