Bronislav Poloczek , Polish Bronisław Poloczek (born August 7, 1939 in Sucha Górna , Poland , † March 16, 2012 in Prague ) was a Czech actor from the Polish minority in the Olsa area .

biography

Poloczek was born in 1939 in Sucha Górna (today Horní Suchá), which was then part of Poland. He attended the Polish school there, and later the Polish grammar school in Orlová . In 1956 he became an actor at the Polish- speaking Těšínské divadlo (Teschener Theater) in Český Těšín . He studied drama at JAMU in Brno and graduated in 1961. He then worked at theaters there, in Mladá Boleslav , Pardubice , Liberec and Prague. Since 1988 he has been a member of the Národní divadlo ensemble . Poloczek has appeared in films and series. In the Czech Republic, his role as captain Ořech in Černí baroni is best known . He died after a long illness.
