Brooke Sweat (born March 27, 1986 in Fort Myers ) is an American beach volleyball player .

Career

Sweat first played volleyball while studying at Florida Gulf Coast University . In 2007 she started playing beach volleyball. Until 2008 she played her first tournaments on the AVP Tour with Kristy Hartley . In 2009, Morgan Flarity was at her side before she played with Kristen Batt at the end of the season . At the Åland Open 2009 Sweat and Tealle Hunkus took part in a tournament on the FIVB World Tour for the first time. In 2010, however, she was back with Batt in the American tournament series.

In 2012 Sweat formed a new duo with Jennifer Fopma . Fopma / Sweat took part in a Grand Slam for the first time in Gstaad . In 2013 they achieved a tournament victory and a third place on the Continental Tour. After two 17th places in China, they finished ninth in the Grand Slam in Rome . At the World Cup in Stare Jabłonki , Fopma / Sweat reached the main round, where they were eliminated against the Americans Fendrick / Hochevar . From 2014 to 2016 Sweat played with Lauren Fendrick , with whom she also took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . From 2017 to the beginning of 2018, Sweat formed a duo with Summer Ross . Kerri Walsh Sweats has been a new partner since the end of 2018 .
