Bruce Davey

Bruce Davey (* in Sydney ) is an Australian film producer .

Davey co- owns Icon Productions with Mel Gibson . He was involved as a producer on Mel Gibson's directorial debut The Man Without a Face (1993) and the following Gibson-directed films: Braveheart (1995), The Passion of the Christ (2004) and Apocalypto . Davey won an Oscar for Braveheart .

Davey started out as Mel Gibson's accountant. After becoming his manager, the two founded Icon Productions in 1989 .
