Bruno César Zanaki (born November 3, 1988 in Santa Bárbara d'Oeste ) is a Brazilian soccer player who is currently under contract with CR Vasco da Gama .
Career
societies
Bruno César started playing football at União Barbarense. In 2005 he moved to Bahia, where he won the championship with his team. During this time he still played as a striker and scored 23 goals. Because of his performance he was noticed by the São Paulo FC , where he also played from 2006. There he was among the juniors in the U-19 tournament “Copa Sao Paulo Jr.” used. From 2007 he played without success in the youth club of Palmeiras, where he moved to Gremio after a year , where he remained unsuccessful. In the spring of 2009 in the service of Ulbra, he scored two goals in three games and so he drew attention again. This brought him straight to EC Noroeste . His consistently good performance led him to EC Santo André at the end of 2009 . After a short time he was one of the most important players on the team.
After a great championship, he helped his team to second place, attracting the top Brazilian clubs' attention and signing a contract with Corinthians São Paulo in May 2010 . At the end of 2010, Bruno César was recognized as the greatest discovery in Brazil in 2010 and the greatest discovery at the 2010 São Paulo state championship.
Bruno César signed a six-year contract with Benfica Lisbon in the summer of 2011 . This transfer cost the club around five million euros. Bruno César scored his first goal for Benfica in his first league game for Benfica Lisbon against CD Feirense . In the first year he was used in almost all games and scored a total of 16 goals. With Benfica Lisbon, César won the Taça da Liga this season .
For the following season he was not considered by coach Jorge Jesus as desired and therefore switched to the Saudi first division club Al-Ahli Jeddah . The midfielder signed a contract until summer 2016. In spring 2014 he returned to Brazil on loan and has played for the professional club of Palmeiras São Paulo since then . Afterwards, Palmeiras received a purchase option of around five million euros, which they did not consider.
For the 2015/16 season, César prematurely ended his contract with Al-Ahli Jeddah, which ran until the summer of 2016, and moved to GD Estoril Praia in Portugal. Only three months after the start of the season, he was poached by Sporting Lisbon . He signed a contract with Sporting Lisbon until 2020 and a termination clause worth 60 million euros, but was only able to play his first game after the winter transfer.

Bruno César made his debut for the national team in a 2-0 win over the Gabonese national team on November 10, 2011.
