Bruno Curth

Bruno Curth (born May 17, 1926 in Helmstedt ) is a former German functionary of the GDR block party DBD . He was chairman of the DBD district association in Potsdam and a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

Curth, son of a worker, attended elementary school in Häsen . From 1940 to 1943 he completed an apprenticeship as a shepherd. On April 20, 1944 ( Führer birthday ), 17-year-old Curth joined the NSDAP . He became a prisoner of war .

From 1948 Curth worked in agriculture. In 1949 he joined the Association of Mutual Farmers Aid (VdgB), in 1951 the Society for German-Soviet Friendship and the Democratic Peasant Party of Germany. In 1952 he was a co-founder of the LPG “Progress” in Häsen and became its chairman.

From 1952 to 1954 he was a member of the county council Gransee , 1954-1958 Member of the District Day Potsdam and member of the Commission of Agriculture. In 1957 he became chairman of the Potsdam district association and member of the party executive committee of the DBD. After his past became evident during the Nazi era , he had to justify himself to representatives of his party in 1959 and resign from the party chairmanship in the Potsdam district. His successor was Heinz Voss . From 1958 to 1963 he was a member of the DBD parliamentary group, a member of the People's Chamber .

In May 1963 the organ was in the Central Committee of the SED " New Germany " criticism of his work as chairman of the LPG '7. October “Hare practiced.
