Bruno Horst Bull

Bruno Horst Bull (* 17th March 1933 in Stülow , Mecklenburg ) is a German writer , poet and children's books author .

Live and act

Bruno Horst Bull was born the son of a farmer. He came to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1956 and studied German and art history, later also theater and newspaper studies in Freiburg im Breisgau and Munich .

As an author, he has published fairy tales, children's poems and poetry in five anthologies as well as in calendars, magazines and daily newspapers. Children's poems by Bruno Horst Bull can be found in many children's magazines and on children's radio .

Since 1964, Bull has published more than 70 children's books, including several edited volumes, as editor. Many of his works are not only aimed at children, but also at parents, teachers, educators and other adults.

James Krüss writes in As many days as the year has about Bruno Horst Bull: “The youngest German children's poet is Bruno Horst Bull, among whose numerous children's verses there are many good things. It has only been published here and there in magazines and collections. Let's hope that a publisher can soon be found for a selection from his children's poems. "

Bull lives in Munich.
