Bruno Ponnath
Bruno Ponnath (born January 2, 1931 in Kemnath ; † September 3, 2018 ) was a German politician ( CSU ).
Life
Ponnath attended elementary school in Kemnath and graduated from the Benedictine high school in Ettal . He did a technical internship with subsequent studies at the Technical University of Munich and achieved the main diploma with an overall grade of very good as a graduate brewing engineer. Afterwards he was the head of a medium-sized brewery .
Ponnath was a long-time district councilor and last acting district administrator in the old district of Kemnath , after which he was deputy district administrator and CSU district chairman in the district of Tirschenreuth . From 1982 to 1994 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament , always directly elected in the Tirschenreuth district .
