Bruno Rauscher

Bruno Rauscher (born July 15, 1931 in Prachatitz / Böhmerwald ; † January 18, 2013 ) was a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

From 1951 Rauscher studied law at the Universities of Erlangen and Munich . Since 1951 he was a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Frankonia (Czernowitz) Erlangen. In 1955 he passed the first and in 1959 the second state examination in law. In 1960 he first became a judge at the Augsburg Social Court .

After a secondment to the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs 1961/1962 Rauscher in 1969 became the Landessozialgerichtsrat the Bayerisches Landessozialgericht appointed.

In March 1971 he became a judge at the Federal Social Court , in the 5th Senate of which he was responsible for miners ' insurance , mining accident insurance and workers' pension insurance . In July 1977 Rauscher joined the 1st Senate; from January 1979 to the end of January 1985 he was its deputy chairman. In February 1985, Rauscher became the presiding judge of the 4th Senate of the Federal Social Court , which was then responsible for workers ' pensions , war victims ' insurance, social insurance for farmers and the Federal Education Allowance Act. He held this office until his retirement on April 30, 1996.

Bruno Rauscher was a member of the Presidium and Presidial Council of the Federal Social Court. As a speaker and chairman of the judicial documentation commission, he worked for over eight years in the development of the “social law documentation” section of the Juris legal database .
