Bruno Seidlhofer
Bruno Georg Seidlhofer (born September 5, 1905 in Vienna ; † February 19, 1982 ibid) was an Austrian pianist , organist , university teacher and piano teacher at the Academy for Music and Performing Arts Vienna .
Seidlhofer taught piano at the Music Academy from 1938 to 1981, where he was a full professor from 1956. From 1962 to 1968 he was a visiting professor at the Cologne University of Music . He taught until 1981. His students included Alexander Jenner , Nelson Freire , Martha Argerich , Rudolf Buchbinder and Friedrich Gulda . He also appeared as an organist in the concert hall and on the radio.
