Bruno Waltert

Bruno Waltert (born July 18, 1937 in Karlsruhe ; † July 25, 2017 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer and newspaper journalist.

After completing his law studies, Waltert was the spokesman for the Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg, Hans Filbinger . In 1980 he moved to Bonn as deputy editor-in-chief of the world . From 1984 to 1987 Bruno Waltert was editor-in-chief of the Main-Post in Würzburg, from 1988 to 1996 of the Berliner Morgenpost and from 1997 in the rank of editor-in-chief journalistic advisor on the board of the Springer-Verlag . Since 1999 Waltert was the editor of the magazine Der Hauptstadtbrief . Most recently he was editor-in-chief of the English-language magazine The German Times and, since 2004, of The Atlantic Times magazine from the Times Media publishing house.
