Buhajiwka ( Ukrainian Бугаївка ; Russian Бугаевка Bugajewka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with about 1200 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1675, was founded by settlers from right-bank Ukraine .

Buhajiwka is the administrative center of the 84.28 km² district council of the same name in the north of Isjum district , to which the villages Popasne ( Попасне , ) with about 40 inhabitants, Rossochuwate ( Розсохувате , ) with about 100 inhabitants, Suchyj Jar ( Сухий Яр , ) with about 150 inhabitants and Chornobayivka ( Чорнобаївка , ) with about 40 inhabitants.

The village is located at an altitude of 147  m at the source of the Mokryi Isjumets ( Мокрий Ізюмець ), a 26 km long left tributary of the Siversky Donets , 37 km north of the Isjum district center and 115 km southeast of the Kharkiv oblast center .
