The Bularan ( Portuguese Ribeira Bularan , tetum Mota Bularan ) is an East Timorese river in the municipality of Viqueque , in the southeast of the island of Timor . It runs east of the Cuha River .

The Bularan has its source in Suco Caraubalo ( administrative office Viqueque ) and flows south. After leaving Caraubalo, the river roughly forms the border between the Sucos Fatudere on the east bank and Maluru , before it flows into the Timor Sea a little after Maluru . To the west is the place Bibiluto .
