Federal funding body

The federal funding body is elected by the German Bundestag on the basis of Section 3 of the Federal Debt Management Act .

tasks

The body assumes parliamentary control over the manner in which the federal government is indebted . It is informed by the Federal Ministry of Finance on all questions relating to federal debt. In addition, the Federal Government informs the Bundestag about all fundamental and essential questions of the federal government's participations in private companies as well as the administration of participations by the Federal Government, § 69a Federal Budget Code (BHO). The committee is informed regularly. The Committee on Budgets shall be referred to the information on the decision of the body.

In the 18th electoral term, the Federal Financing Committee consists of 10 members and is composed as follows:

The body is elected for the duration of one legislative period. The members must also be members of the budget committee of the German Bundestag. You are obliged to maintain confidentiality.
