Sven-Christian Kindler
Sven-Christian Kindler (born February 14, 1985 in Hanover ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and business economist. He has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2009 and was spokesman for the Green Youth of Lower Saxony from 2007 to 2009 .
education and profession
After graduating from the Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule (Hanover) in 2004 , Kindler completed a dual degree in business administration at the Leibniz Academy Hanover and at Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics GmbH , which he completed in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in business administration . The training also included an internship in Stockholm . From 2007 to 2009 he worked in corporate controlling at Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics GmbH.
Party career
Kindler has been active with the Green Youth and the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party since 2003 . From 2006 to 2007 he was treasurer in the state board of the Green Youth of Lower Saxony, from 2007 to 2009 he was its spokesman. He also served from 2006 until 2009 Member of the party council of the Greens Lower Saxony and was a member of the central election commission during the parliament of Lower Saxony 2008 election . Kindler was a member of the negotiating commission that negotiated the coalition agreement with the SPD on the part of Alliance 90 / The Greens after the Lower Saxony state election on January 20, 2013 .

Since 2013 he has been spokesman for the Lower Saxony state group of his parliamentary group and since 2014 its budgetary spokesman. Since 2018 he has been deputy chairman of the federal funding body and the German-Israeli parliamentary group.
Political positions
As a budget expert, he criticizes the compromise negotiated on the climate package of September 20, 2019 and draws the following conclusion: "This federal government has completely failed in the human task of climate protection", among other things because the state, despite additional investments of 26 billion "every year 57 billion for climate-damaging Subsidies "burn.

Since 2010 Kindler has been a member of the board of trustees of the Solidarity Modern Institute , which sees itself as a counterbalance to the neoliberal political discourse.
