Bundestag constituency Schwabach
The Bundestag constituency of Schwabach was a constituency in Bavaria from 1949 to 1965 . It included the independent city of Schwabach and the districts of Schwabach , Nuremberg , Hersbruck and Lauf an der Pegnitz .
For the 1965 federal election there was a comprehensive reorganization of the constituencies in Central Franconia . The area of the dissolved Schwabach constituency was divided between the Erlangen and Ansbach constituencies. Today the area of the former Bundestag constituency Schwabach is predominantly in the area of the Bundestag constituency Roth , the independent city Schwabach in the Bundestag constituency Nuremberg-Süd . The last directly elected member of the constituency was Georg Baron Manteuffel-Szoege ( CSU ).
