Weissenburg Bundestag constituency
The Bundestag constituency of Weißenburg was a constituency in Bavaria from 1949 to 1976 . Most recently, it included the independent cities of Weißenburg in Bavaria and Eichstätt and the districts of Weißenburg , Gunzenhausen , Hilpoltstein , Dinkelsbühl , Eichstätt and Feuchtwangen .
For the 1976 federal election there was a comprehensive reorganization of the constituencies in Central Franconia . The area of the dissolved Weißenburg constituency was divided into the constituencies of Roth , Ansbach and Ingolstadt . The constituency was won by Richard Stücklen ( CSU ) in all federal elections between 1949 and 1972 .
