Federal Association of Accident Insurance Funds
The Federal Association of Accident Insurance Funds e. V. ( BUK ) was founded in 1936 as a working group of the municipal accident insurance carriers and was the umbrella organization of the public accident insurance carriers until June 1, 2007 .
Merged with the HVBG to form the DGUV
On June 1, 2007, the BUK was established with the Main Association of Commercial Employers' Liability Insurance Associations . V. (HVBG) to the German Statutory Accident Insurance e. V. (DGUV) merged.
Since then, the public accident insurance institutions and the commercial professional associations have been represented by this joint umbrella association.
