The Burbach is a one and a half kilometers long, southern and right tributary of the Bleidenbach in the area of the municipality of Weilmünster in the Hessian district of Limburg-Weilburg .

The Burbach rises in the Hasselborn Hintertaunus at an altitude of about 304 m above sea level. NHN on the outskirts of the Weilmünster district of Rohnstadt .
The Burbach initially flows in a north-easterly direction in a green area overgrown with trees and bushes. The corridor In der Daubern Wies passes the local cemetery and is then fed on its right by a second spring arm. The brook then runs, accompanied by the district road 443 ( Schultheisenstraße ) in almost northerly direction in the corridor In der Burbach on the edge of the forest in a valley between the heights of Hofwald ( 364 m ) on the left and Burgwald on the right.
It now makes a small curve to the left, then runs along the western foot of the Riesenkopf and finally flows into the Bleidenbach, which is approaching from the west-southwest, at the Spitzenmühle at an altitude of about 206 m from the right .
Data
The Burbach is a low mountain stream rich in coarse material and silicate. It drains over the Bleidenbach , the Weil , the Lahn and the Rhine into the North Sea . The difference in altitude from its source to its mouth is 98 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of about 65 ‰ over a length of about 1.5 km.
