Burden is a German rock band from Rhineland-Palatinate .
history
Burden was founded by Saint D. (formerly Cryogenic, formerly Hellfucked ) and Dave (formerly Deadspawn). After several rehearsals, a bassist was found in Johnny, shortly afterwards the Canadian singer Thorsten. At the turn of the year 2008/2009 a promo EP called The Fool was released . With this, the band managed to get a record deal with the independent label Ván Records (distributed by Soulfood ). Her EP Man of No Account was released there in 2010 and on October 15, 2010 the debut album A Hole in the Shell, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner in the Kohlkeller Studio . In early 2011 Burden played as support for Kyuss Lives! on their European tour.
style
Burden plays a mixture of rock , sludge and stoner metal and is reminiscent of bands like Black Sabbath , Alice in Chains and Corrosion of Conformity .
