The castle Oberried is an Outbound Turmhügelburg (moth) near the monastery area on the northeastern outskirts of the village Oberried in Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg .
The moth most likely consisted of a tower and stood on an artificially raised hill with a diameter of about 20 meters and a height of about three meters. Of the former castle complex, only the castle hill remains, which is still clearly visible today from the surrounding area.
In 2017, another exceptionally well-preserved moth was found in the immediate vicinity of the moth described.
