The Burgstuben is an Outbound lowland castle in the area of residential space offices of the municipality Altshausen in the district of Ravensburg ( Baden-Wuerttemberg ).
The Stuben Castle, formerly probably called "Stubun", was located on the "Schlösslesbühl", which has since been demolished, and was the ancestral seat of the noble lords von Stuben and later barons of Stuben mentioned from 1259 to 1744 . The Lords of Königsegg and Weingarten Monastery are named as further owners in 1343 and 1351 . The former castle complex, probably a tower hill castle (Motte), can only be seen in the aerial photo. Verena von Stuben was abbess at the Sonnenburg monastery .
