Burkhard Jungkamp

Burkhard Jungkamp (born November 12, 1955 in Münster ) is a German political official . From 2005 to November 2014 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MBJS) of the State of Brandenburg .

Life

After completing his teaching degree for grammar school in German, mathematics and political sciences at the University of Cologne and Münster as well as his legal clerkship at the Essen II study seminar, Jungkamp took the second state examination for teaching at grammar school in German and mathematics in 1981.

Between 1985 and 1998 he worked at grammar schools in Bonn , Menden , Erkrath and Dortmund . From 1998 to 2001 he was employed as a pedagogical employee in the Ministry for School, Science and Research of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia .

For one year from 2001 to 2002 he headed the Wilhelm-Hittorf-Gymnasium in Münster, until he became head of department in the Ministry of School, Science and Research North Rhine-Westphalia (affairs of lower secondary level for all types of schools, teacher supply for the state's high schools, concept development for better individual Promotion, including talent promotion etc.). Then he was head of the ministerial office and personal advisor to the minister for schools, youth and children in North Rhine-Westphalia, Ute Schäfer ( SPD ).

From November 2005 to November 2014 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the State of Brandenburg under Martina Münch (SPD).

Jungkamp is married and has two children.
